Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create a Atium account we collect your email address and an encrypted password hash. When you log trades we store the trade details you provide (instrument, entry/exit prices, notes, strategy tags) along with chart screenshots — the ones you attach yourself and the ones the browser extension captures at your fills or when you click Capture. If you link your Discord account or invite our Discord bot to a server, we store your Discord user ID, the Discord server (guild) ID, and the configured review channel ID so the bot can deliver trade posts and authorize review submissions. We also collect basic usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Atium service
  • To authenticate your identity and protect your account
  • To send transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts)
  • To send occasional product updates (you may opt out at any time)
  • To generate AI-written insights you ask for, such as the weekly Film Room report (see “AI features” in Section 4)
  • To improve our service through aggregated, anonymized analytics

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (powered by PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. All connections use TLS encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.

Chart screenshots and other images you upload are stored in Supabase Storage and served from public links, so anyone who has an image's link can view it without signing in. How easily each kind of image can be found differs:

  • Trade screenshots — stored under a long, randomly generated identifier, so a link cannot practically be guessed. Only people who are given the link can view one.
  • Review annotations (charts marked up during Community Review) — served from public links, so anyone with the link can view one, but they are not listed to other members.
  • Profile banners and folder covers — public: anyone can view them, and they can be found without being given a link.

Other members cannot upload to, replace or delete your images. Images attached to a trade you share — to Community Review, a friend, a Discord server, Trade of the Week or your public profile — are visible to the people you share it with, who may also pass the link on.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
  • Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your full card number)
  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
  • Railway — hosting for the Atium Discord bot runtime
  • Discord — delivery of trade posts and review interactions to servers where you install our bot (subject to Discord's Privacy Policy)
  • Sentry — error monitoring (error reports and stack traces, which can include the page or request involved and internal record IDs, but not your name or email address)
  • SendGrid — transactional and marketing email delivery
  • xAI (Grok) — AI model provider for Atium's AI features, described below (subject to xAI's Privacy Policy)

AI features

Some features send data to xAI's API so its Grok models can generate text for you:

  • Film Room weekly report — when you open a week's report, we send xAI a digest of that week built from your trades: each trade's symbol and dollar profit or loss, the self-review notes you wrote on it (mistakes, lessons learned, improvements), and the written peer feedback and suggested grades other members gave you on those trades. If the week has no written notes or feedback, nothing is sent.
  • Market outlook — the pre-market and post-session ES/NQ outlooks are generated from the day's public economic calendar and web search. No personal or account data is sent for them.

We do not send your name, email address or account identifiers with these requests, and reviewers are not named in the peer feedback we send. Peer feedback is written by other members, so the digest can contain whatever they chose to write. xAI processes this data to produce the response on our behalf. How long xAI keeps API inputs and outputs, and whether it may use them to improve its models, is governed by xAI's own terms and privacy policy, which may change; please review them if this matters to you. The generated report is stored in your Atium account. If you do not want your notes processed this way, do not open Film Room reports, or contact us.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly page-view analytics that does not use cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

6. Browser Extension

The Atium Bot browser extension runs on TradingView. You can switch it off there, or back on, in the extension's settings. It does not read your browsing history or access data on any other website.

On those pages, the extension reads only what is needed to journal your own trades:

  • Your own order notifications — the fill and stop confirmations the platform displays for trades you place, so they can be turned into journal entries (contract, side, price, size, timestamps).
  • The chart symbol — so a journaled trade is tagged with the instrument you were trading.
  • Chart screenshots — captured at your fills when you enable automatic detection (which is off by default), or when you click a Capture button. Screenshots of TradingView charts carry a “Charts by TradingView” attribution.

The extension never reads your platform login credentials, cookies, or account balances, and it never places, modifies, or cancels orders.

The extension stores your Atium session token in chrome.storage.local and communicates exclusively with our API at atiumtrade.com and your Supabase project. The third-party trading platforms you use it with are governed by their own terms of service and privacy policies.

7. Discord Bot

The Atium Discord bot is an optional integration that posts your community-submitted trades to a Discord server channel of your choice and lets other linked Atium members click Review to leave feedback in a short web form on atiumtrade.com.

When you use the bot we process the following data:

  • Discord user ID — collected when you link your Discord account during Atium sign-in, so we can identify you when you click the “Review Trade” button in Discord.
  • Discord server (guild) ID and channel ID — stored when a server administrator runs /atium setup so the bot knows where to post trades.
  • Trade content — when you submit a trade for community review, the trade's symbol, side, P&L, entry/exit prices, setup notes, and chart screenshots are sent to the configured Discord channel. By submitting a trade for community review you consent to this data being posted to the Discord server(s) you have configured.
  • Short-lived review tokens — when a Discord member clicks the “Review Trade” button, we mint a single-use, 30-minute token bound to their Atium user ID. The token exists solely to authorize that one review submission and is invalidated after use.

The bot does not read arbitrary Discord messages, access message history, or ingest content from channels other than those you explicitly configure. The bot uses Discord's Guild Members privileged intent only to verify that the trader posting a trade is a member of the target server; member lists are not retained.

When you delete your Atium account or unlink your Discord account, we remove your Discord user ID and any unused review tokens from our systems. Existing trade posts already delivered to Discord channels remain in those channels and are governed by Discord's own data policies; you may ask your server administrator to delete them.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your trade data, screenshots, Discord linkage, and personal information will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics may be retained. Review tokens are auto-expired after 30 minutes and purged on a rolling basis.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@atiumtrade.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Atium after changes constitutes acceptance.
